At Independent Safety Evaluation Ltd, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality LOLER Examinations to our clients by over-delivering and clear communication. We are looking to strengthen our team with a motivated and detail-oriented Business Administrator to support day-to-day operations and help drive our continued success.
Location: Poole
Salary: £12–£14 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Part-time, 20–25 hours per week (flexible)
Role and Responsibilities:
- The Business Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our business operations.
- This position involves a variety of administrative and organisational tasks, including being an Assistant Administrator to the Director, managing schedules, preparing client reports and contributing to the overall efficiency of the business.
- Assist with workflow and mailboxes on Outlook.
- To be an administrator for the Field ID Inspection Reporting System.
- To be an administrator for Sage – includes invoicing, raising Purchase Orders and chasing outstanding payments.
- To be the single-point-of contact for the supply of Engineering Insurance.
- To undertake travel and subsistence bookings.
- To be the custodian and lead administrator for ISE – OneDrive.
- To be the administrator for www.iseuk.com.
- To act as the conduit between in-the-field Engineers and clients.
- To prepare client reports.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- To be fully competent in all aspects of MS Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat.
- GCSE (grade C and above / grades 4-9) - English and Business Management.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt quickly, think on your feet, and resolve administrative challenges independently.
