A national firm of IFAs is currently recruiting for an experienced Paraplanner to join their team based at their Grimsby offices. The successful candidate will work closely with Financial Advisers, providing technical support in servicing clients' financial advice needs, ensuring high standards of client service, and conducting detailed research on clients' existing and potential arrangements. After assessing these against the clients' financial objectives, you will produce timely and compliant Financial Planning Reports.
Responsibilities
- Writing Financial Planning Reports that Advisers present to clients
- Supporting Advisers by conducting research on products and helping to find the right solutions for clients
- Assisting with reviews and customer requests, acting as a point of contact for clients' day-to-day queries
- Arranging for plans to be submitted to provider companies
- Maintaining client records on the company software, ensuring files are well-presented, accurate, and compliant
- Preparing client review packs
- Handling illustration requests
- Keeping up-to-date with financial products and legislation
- Ensuring compliance with all company and industry guidelines, rules, and regulations
- Additional responsibilities may be required based on the needs of the business
Key Requirements
- Experience in a Financial Advice firm with strong Paraplanning and report-writing skills
- Diploma qualification is desirable but candidates with relevant skills and experience will also be considered
- Reliable, with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively
- Outstanding communication skills at all levels
- Ability to produce business correspondence and proofread with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability to cope with change
- Confident with IT and office software packages such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
