Our T1/T2 client requires a Permanent Quality Engineer for a high value, niche component project to be based at a facility in North Oxfordshire, UK. The client is a manufacturer of high end, supercar level vision systems to include cameras and mirrors and is looking to establish and develop a UK based engineering and design team.
Please note that there is no visa assistance available on this role, all candidates must be pre-authorised to work in the United Kingdom. Applications will not be accepted from outside of UK.
The successful candidate will be expected to have 5 to 7 years of relevant Automotive OEM or T1 automotive experience; any experience of the supercar industry would be beneficial.
The candidates will be expected to have the following experience:
- In-depth Automotive quality experience at OEM or Tier 1 level.
- Expert knowledge of IATF 16949, including implementation essential.
- Proven relevant experience working with supercar OEMs (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, AML, Mclaren, Koenigsegg etc.) would be a definite advantage.
- Quality tools expert (MSA, 8D, FMEA, Control Plan, etc.).
Some flexibility needed as some expensed travel will be required between the Customers UK and parent European site, plus potential travel to end customers. The role will involve working in a small, multi-cultural team spread across two European locations and some customer-facing activities but will still be a hands-on role. The role may also involve some foreign travel to existing and new clients.
