About the Role
We are seeking an inspiring and experienced Headteacher to lead a well-established independent nursery school with an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding early years education and care.
The Headteacher will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, safeguarding and pastoral care.

- Leadership and Strategy
- Provide clear and inspirational leadership for the school community.

Educational Leadership

Person Specification
Essential
- Leadership experience within an early years, nursery or preparatory school environment.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop staff teams.
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- A demonstrable commitment to outstanding pastoral care and child-centred education.
- Experience of working effectively with parents, governors, proprietors or trustees.
Desirable
- Experience within the independent school sector or 4+ assessment criteria.
- Leadership qualification such as NPQH or equivalent.
- Experience managing budgets and school operations.
- Knowledge of inspection and regulatory frameworks.
