HCA Healthcare are seeking Registrar-level doctors with a background in Acute Medicine and a special interest or experience in Neurology or Stroke Rehabilitation Medicine to join their team at The Wellington Hospital in North London. You’ll work alongside leading consultants and an exceptional multidisciplinary team to care for patients, offering comprehensive inpatient programmes for adults with acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, and complex medical disabilities.
The Hospital has 54 beds across three floors, a state-of-the-art gym and hydrotherapy pool, cutting-edge technology, including robotics and advanced therapies. This is a unique opportunity to work in an environment at the forefront of clinical innovation, with exceptional patient-to-staff ratios that allow you to deliver truly personalised care.
While we are a Consultant Led Service, we believe in empowering our Resident Doctors, so your role could expand as much as you wish. You’ll have the chance to be involved in audits, projects and quality improvement initiatives alongside the opportunity to join a variety of internal networks. This could be to help steer the services you deliver, speaking up or patient satisfaction focus groups, clinical governance or MDT meetings.
What you will do:
- Provide day-to-day inpatient medical management, including clerking admissions, daily ward rounds, and routine clinical reviews
- Support continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient pathways
- Collaborate closely with internationally recognised consultants, specialist therapists, and nurses
