Summary of position:
Part-time (0.6 w.t.e.) Principal Clinical Psychologist (8a) to join the psychology department and multidisciplinary team. This post is a fixed-term maternity leave cover. Applications are welcomed from HCPC-registered clinical psychologists with an interest in neuropsychology/neuro-disability.
You will be part of a large, friendly, and supportive psychology team, with regular on-site supervision from an experienced consultant clinical neuropsychologist and opportunities for QICN/SRCN supervision. The role offers valuable interdisciplinary working with a complex and interesting client group, alongside access to a range of specialist training opportunities.
RHN provides a range of different services, including:
- Brain Injury Service (BIS) – Level 1 neurorehabilitation
- Neuro-behavioural service
- Complex respiratory service – for adults dependent on long-term ventilation
- Continuing care service – long-term care for adults with complex neuro-disability
- Young adults service
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work across several of these service areas, enabling them to broaden their skills in working with a wide range of neurological conditions and neuropsychological presentations.
