Overview

Active Neuro are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist with a passion for neurological rehabilitation and respiratory care.

They are seeking a skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join their specialist multidisciplinary team in Birmingham on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals living with complex neurological conditions and acquired brain injuries, delivering high-quality rehabilitation that makes a genuine difference to people’s lives.

Responsibilities

Working across inpatient and outpatient services, you will support clients with a range of complex physical, neurological and respiratory needs, including individuals requiring tracheostomy management and chest physiotherapy. You will be part of a highly experienced MDT, contributing to personalised rehabilitation programmes that maximise independence, function and quality of life.

Facilities and Tools

The recently refurbished service has benefited from significant investment in rehabilitation technology, including robotic-assisted therapy systems such as the Luna EMG Premium and ExoMotus M4. These tools complement – rather than replace – the expert clinical skills of therapists, enabling intensive, goal-focused rehabilitation and measurable outcomes.

Candidate profile

This role would particularly suit a Physiotherapist currently working in neuro rehabilitation, respiratory care, stroke rehabilitation, major trauma, spinal injury, or complex community rehabilitation who is looking for a part-time opportunity within a specialist service.
