I was born in 2000 and live with complex physical, psychological, and communication needs due to an injury at birth. But thats just one part of my storyIm fun-loving, sociable, and I love getting outdoors, shopping, attending day services, and having a good laugh with my support team. Keeping things upbeat and engaging is really important to me.
Im looking forSupport Workersto join my care teampeople who are calm, proactive, and bring a sense of structure and fun to my day. Youll be helping me live life to the fullest, supporting me with daily activities, personal care, mobility, and social outings. I use a wheelchair and am gastrostomy fed, so confidence in these areas is essential.
Hours & Pay
- Approx. 144 hours per 4-week cycle(avg. 36 hours/week)
- Flexible shifts can be shared by more than one person
- Bank hours available
Pay Rates:
- Pay Rate 1: £13.23 per hour, Monday to Friday days and Waking nights
- Pay Rate 2: £15.44 per hour, Weekend days
- Pay Rate 3: £17.64 per hour, Bank Holidays
- £NLW (Currently £12.21 p/h for age 21+), Weekday Sleeping Nights (11pm7am)
- £NLW (Currently £12.21 p/h for age 21+) + £1, £13.21/hr Weekend Sleeping Nights (11pm7am)
- £31.20 per shift On Standby
Driving & Travel
- Youll need yourown carto get to work (rural location)
- Youll also be drivingmy adapted automatic vehicle
- Use of your own vehicle may be needed for training
Experience
Essential:
- Experience supporting children/young adults with neuro disabilities
Desirable:
- Qualifications or experience with severe disabilities

- I live in afully adapted family homewith a separate carers entrance, room, and kitchen
- We have avery friendly family dog(who does bark!)
