The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Working within the family home, local community and occasionally further afield. Permanent shifts to include 1 x 24hr shift, 10am to 10am and 1 x 6 hour shift, 9am to 3pm per week on sailing days only. On non-sailing days the shift will be 10am-4pm or 12pm-6pm. Bank hours various (24 hour shifts 10am to 10am, 6 hour shifts 9am to 3pm, Mon-Sun and flexibility required to support holidays, absence of the current team, and activities).

£14.06 per hour, Monday - Friday Days
£15.83 per hour, Weekends and Bank Holiday Days
£NLW (Currently £12.71 per hour for age 21+), Sleeping Nights
5.6 weeks holiday (pro rata)

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to provide 1:1 support to a young woman with complex physical needs living in her own home. The role focuses on enabling independence, promoting wellbeing, and supporting our client to live a full and meaningful life. This includes personal care, supporting education and leisure activities, and working closely with family members, therapists and professionals.

Full training will be provided - no previous care experience is required, just the right values, commitment and willingness to learn. There is a small dog in the home.

  • Supporting with all aspects of personal care, maintaining dignity and respect at all times
  • Assisting with nutrition, hydration and medication, including gastrostomy care (training provided)
  • Supporting physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and exercise programmes as directed
  • Supporting college work, hobbies, leisure and social activities
  • Driving and supporting access to the community, education and activities
  • Maintaining accurate daily records and good communication with the care team
  • Supporting infection prevention, safety and hygiene standards
  • Providing emotional reassurance and support
  • Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated support team
