The role of a Personal Care Assistant (PA) is varied and interesting, involving personal care tasks such as dressing, bathing, feeding, cooking, and cleaning. Independent Living Alternatives (ILA) has vacancies supporting disabled people in their workplace with tasks like filing, scanning documents, and taking notes. No experience is necessary to work as a Personal Assistant with ILA; just an open mind and a willingness to learn. PAs are great communicators, have patience, excellent listening skills, and can follow instructions.
