This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys helping others live life to the fullest while bringing positivity, cheerfulness and reliability to their work. A great sense of humour is a must along with the ability to remain professional at all times. Daytime shifts are worked on a 2:1 basis and the ability to get along with others is vital to this role. Shifts involve taking our daughter out to activities – typically swimming, music therapy, rebound therapy, theatre shows, and other events – as well as spending time at home where she enjoys activities such as karaoke, nail painting, and physio time. Personal and medical care is also part of the role, and a full range of training will be given.

  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Creative
  • Always able to work to high standards of health & safety
  • Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind, common‑sense and fun approach to these roles
  • A full range of training will be provided
  • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required

Additional Requirements:

  • Non‑smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
