Overview
Our 15‑year‑old son, who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and uses a power chair, is looking for a friendly and fun personal assistant to support him with day‑to‑day activities such as school pick‑up, personal care, and companionship. The role involves physically supporting, providing good company, and assisting with feeding and personal grooming.
Duties
- Personal grooming
- Eating and drinking assistance
- Transportation using a wheelchair‑accessible vehicle (training available)
- Companionship
- Dressing / undressing
- Bathroom assistance
- Other relevant duties as required
Candidate Qualities
