We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and proactive Personal Assistants / Support Workers to join a supportive home‑based team supporting a young autistic man in Uckfield. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of an intelligent and engaging young man with autism, associated learning difficulties, and global developmental delay.

He is pre‑verbal and communicates using an AAC device, so patience, consistency, and a willingness to learn communication strategies are essential. No prior care experience is required – full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Responsibilities

Working Conditions

Hours per week: 28 hours per week provided over 7 days. Typical shifts are:

  • Morning: 08:00 - 15:00
  • Evening: 15:00 - 22:00

You will work 4 shifts a week, including evening and weekend working on a fair rolling rota basis, with weekends shared equally across the team. Additional hours may also be available to cover annual leave and sickness.

  • Right to work in the UK.
