Schedule and Pay:

  • Hours per week: Up to 5 hours during school terms; up to 8 hours during school holidays; some hours may be worked on a weekend day. Times flexible.
  • Hourly pay rate: £16.00.
  • Employment Status: Employed.

Job Description: This role is to support a child with Down's syndrome and Autism. The candidate should be a woman, as an equality act exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9.

Responsibilities include:

  • Companionship.
  • Changing nappies occasionally.
  • Support with social activities, playing, and other recreational activities.
  • Assist with personal care such as changing nappies, taking the child out, playing at home.
  • Ensure the child is kept safe and supervised at all times.
  • Report to the child's father who is the employer.
