Role Overview

Support a 12‑year‑old child with learning disabilities and epilepsy in community and at home. Provide companionship and assistance with daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accompany the child to community activities, playground, swimming, climbing and outdoor activities.
  • Support toileting and personal care, dressing/undressing.
  • Administer emergency epilepsy medication as required.
  • Provide companionship and encouragement throughout the day.
  • Transport the child using personal vehicle or public transport as needed.
  • Other relevant duties as requested.

  • Female (gender exemption under Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9).
  • Experience working with children with special needs.
