Support Worker/Personal Care Assistant

Location: Three Bridges, Crawley

Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Female Support Worker to work with an 11-year-old child in the community and at home. The child has learning disabilities, is non-verbal but able to communicate her needs, and has epilepsy.

The ideal candidate will be experienced, a driver with their own car, and a non-smoker due to health needs. They should be respectful of the employer\’s privacy and confidentiality, reliable, and able to work on their own initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Transportation
  • Companionship
  • Dressing/undressing
  • Changing pull-ups/toileting

Requirements

  • Experience of working with children with similar needs
  • Ability to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

Additional requirements include being a non-smoker due to medical reasons and having the right to work in the UK.
