I am an 80-year-old man looking for 2-3 reliable, respectful, and punctual personal assistants to help me live independently at home. Punctuality is very important, as my catheter care, meals, and medications follow a set routine, and our home runs on a calm, organised daily schedule. A family member works from home in another room and is available in an emergency, but will not be involved in daily care and should not be disturbed during working hours.
Duties include:
- Morning visit (8am)
- Drain and clean night catheter bag
- Assist with dressing if needed
- Prepare simple microwave breakfast
- Assist with undressing/dressing for showers, or help wash my legs on non-shower days
- Re-adjust catheter
- Heat a ready meal and vegetables in the microwave
- Dishwashing
- Cleaning my bedroom and upstairs bathroom (including the toilet)
- Vacuuming my bedroom and hallway
- Changing my bedding from time to time
