Location: Eastbourne

Hours per week: Flexible support up to 6 hrs per week

Hourly pay rate: £12.71 per hour

Drivers licence required: Preferred

We are looking for a reliable personal assistant to provide support to our 16‑year‑old son and enable short periods of respite. The role encourages independence in daily living skills and supports him with fun activities such as baking, playing board games, and role play. As part of his care, the assistant supports him with at‑home therapies including physiotherapy exercises and sensory play, and assists with family outings such as National Trust visits.

Duties include:

  • Housekeeping
  • Cooking
  • Transportation

  • Evening supervision while parents go out
  • Participating in baking, playing board games, and role play
  • Support to attend Riding for the Disabled
  • Joining family activities to provide extra support
  • Support to attend swimming
  • Other relevant duties as required
