Our 7-year-old son is non-verbal and full of energy. He loves being outdoors, playing in water, climbing, and bouncing on trampolines. He is generally a happy and content child, but can occasionally experience episodes of pain, which may affect his behaviour.
Your main role will involve engaging him in activities he enjoys both at home and outside, ensuring his safety at all times and providing personal care assistance. It is important to be vigilant and proactive in keeping him safe, as he has little awareness of potential dangers. Additionally, you will provide reassurance and comfort during any episodes of pain or discomfort, helping him stay calm and happy.
We are looking for someone who is patient, energetic, and kind, with a genuine passion for working with children. Experience with children or individuals with additional needs is essential. You should be comfortable with providing personal care in a respectful and dignified manner, and able to stay calm and responsive during any challenging moments.
