Personal Assistant needed for a lovely 14‑year‑old boy who is non‑verbal and has special educational needs. We are looking for a caring, reliable, and committed individual to provide one‑to‑one support at home and in the community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist with communication using PEC cards or a communication device
- Support daily routines and emotional regulation, encouraging independence and confidence
- Provide assistance with eating and drinking
- Help with moving, handling, dressing/undressing and bathroom aid
- Assist with transportation and participation in outdoor activities such as parks, walks, trampoline parks, and soft play
- Maintain a tidy, hygienic and well‑organised environment and adhere to health & safety standards
Essential qualities:
