Duties include:
– Eating and drinking assistance
– Dressing / undressing
– Bathroom assistance
– Helping with other aspects of personal care as required, for example assisting to get changed at swimming pool.
– Accompany employer\’s son when accessing social and leisure activities keeping him safe
– The above duties may involve driving the employer in the PA\’s car for which mileage of 40p per mile will be paid
I am looking for a vigilant and experienced PA for my happy, energetic and determined 10-year-old son.
Whilst he has autism and a genetic deletion, he is fun loving, kind and independent but can have challenging behaviour on occasion when he is unhappy.
He enjoys being outside, at the park or in the forest, swimming, and soft play.
Ideally you will have experience with non-verbal children, autism, ADHD and pda (Pathological demand avoidance).
Tasks will include personal care and taking my son out engaging him in activities he enjoys and keeping him safe.
A driving license is desirable when taking him out for activities, however not necessary as we live close to a train station., Respectful of the employer\’s privacy and confidentiality
