Hours per week:
To be discussed. Currently we are looking for weekend day hours and after school weekday hours, plus support
during the holidays.

Hourly pay rate:
To be discussed. Range £12.75-14.70 depending on weekend/ weekday and on experience

We are seeking enthusiastic and caring PAs for our gorgeous 9 year old son, who has cerebral palsy epilepsy and complex health needs. He is fully dependent; non mobile and non verbal but communicates his feelings in his own
way. He loves being physical and active, loves music and being at home with his family.

Duties include:
Medication prompting/administering
Personal grooming
Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Other relevant duties as required
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Our son is PEG fed blended diet so preparation of feeds may be needed (not cooking).

Candidate qualities:
Respectful of the employer\’s privacy and confidentiality

Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Must be comfortable with pets
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
Caring, fun, enthusiastic and easy going, at ease joining in the busy family environment in our home.
Physically strong as our son has high tone and severe dystonia.
