Live in with 2 and half hour break each day - Thursday to Thursday
Hourly pay rate: £250 live in day/break coverage £15 per hour
I am looking for a female live in carer to work alternate weeks with daily breaks. I am a disabled 52 year old female living in a bungalow on the edge of Ashdown Forest and I also photophobia.
I need a driver over 21 so that they can access my automatic wheelchair accessible vehicle. I have pets including a cat.
Duties
- Moving and handling
- Other relevant duties as required
- Shopping
- Cooking
- Transportation
- Companionship
- Bathroom assistance
- Assistance at meetings
Candidate qualities
- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy and well organised
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Honest and cheerful
- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
- Must be comfortable with pets
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
- 21+ for insurance purposes for the automatic Motability wheelchair accessible vehicle
Additional requirements
Non-smoker due to medical reasons, Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
