Flexible Part‑Time Personal Assistant (Dog‑Lover Essential!)

Location: Uckfield

Hours per week: Thursday afternoons (flexible start and finish). Hours TBD. Hourly pay rate: TBD.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and transport for the employer and his dog.
• Run errands, walk the dog, and enjoy relaxed afternoons together.
• Assist with outings and help with everyday tasks.
• Follow instructions, work independently, and maintain high standards of health & safety.

Candidate Qualities

• Respectful of privacy and confidentiality.
• Reliable, good timekeeping, organized, and tidy.
• Fit, healthy, and patient with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with pets and a genuine dog lover.
• Non‑smoker preferred or willing to refrain during working hours.

Additional Requirements

All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required.

Employment Notice

If you are successful, you will be engaged directly or employed by the individual employer and not by Independent Lives. The role may be offered on an employed or self‑employed basis, depending on the suitability and agreement with the employer. If employed, you will be entitled to holiday pay and issued an employment contract.
