Role Overview

I’m seeking a friendly, reliable and well‑organised Personal Assistant to support me—an autistic woman living with ADHD, mixed anxiety‑depressive disorder and complex PTSD—through daily life and routines. The role involves gentle prompting, routine building, light housekeeping, calendar support, food shopping and commuting to a weekly swimming session. The assistant will provide a calm, steady presence and occasional quiet time. The role is not about pressure; it is supportive care and will give my husband (full‑time employee) respite while stabilising my independence.

Support Includes

  • Gentle prompting around self‑care and basic needs
  • Help building and maintaining simple routines
  • Light housekeeping and home management
  • Calendar support, food shopping, menu planning and some cooking
  • Accompaniment to errands and weekly swimming session (Tuesdays at 12:30pm)
  • Quiet, steady presence; calm “hold the shape of the day” when energy dips
  • Joining for tea and a bit of telly as needed
