We are currently looking to recruit a bank support worker to join a small team caring for a young man living in Eastbourne with learning disabilities and complex epilepsy.

Hours will cover weekends, annual leave and sickness. All shifts are 7:00 am‑7:00 pm. Drivers licence preferred. Non‑smoker essential. Rate of pay is £14.40.

  • Moving and handling
  • Clinical tasks
  • Administration
  • Housekeeping
  • Shopping
  • Cooking
  • Transportation
  • Companionship
  • Looking after pets
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance

Requirements

  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Able to follow instructions and work independently
  • Hygienic, tidy and well‑organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Ability to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Comfortable with pets
  • Right to work in the UK and willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required
  • Drivers licence preferred (if available)
  • Non‑smoker essential
