Role: Support a child / Personal Assistant
Requirements: Full driving licence and confidence to drive a manual Peugeot Boxer van.
Hours per week:
- Term time: Every Saturday 12pm–4pm, last Sunday of the month for 6 hours.
- School Holidays: 2–3 days a week, 6 hours per day (flexible, agreed in advance).
Hourly pay rate: £15 per hour.
We’re looking for a Personal Assistant to support two fun-loving 16‑year‑old twin boys who have a fantastic sense of humour and a love for staying active and busy. They enjoy getting out and about, heading to their favourite activities, and making the most of what the local community has to offer. Your role would involve helping them get to and from outings, supporting them during activities, and generally being a positive presence in their lives while also helping the family stay connected to the local area.
Duties include:
- Personal grooming
- Eating and drinking assistance
- Moving and handling
- Transportation
- Dressing / undressing
- Bathroom assistance
- Reassure & encourage
- Other relevant duties as required
Candidate qualities:
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy and well organised
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Honest and cheerful
- Creative
- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
- Must have a drivers licence and be confident to drive our van
