Overview

This role is to support a woman. The candidate should be a woman*. Drivers licence required: Yes. Own vehicle needed: Yes.

Employment status: Self-employed

Hours per week: 5 hours per week, preferably Wednesdays and/or Thursdays. Flexibility may be required depending on need.

Hourly pay rate: Self Employed Rate TBC

We are looking for a reliable and supportive individual to provide flexible help with heavier domestic tasks and occasional community support for the customer, while encouraging independence with day-to-day chores she is able to manage.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning floors and hoovering
  • Changing bedding
  • Cleaning the bathroom and kitchen
  • Laundry (loading the washing machine and hanging wet washing)
  • Putting clean items away
  • Promoting independence with chores the customer is able to manage
  • Flexible support to be accompanied to the local shops for top-up shopping or to bulk cook meals
  • Assisting taking to hospital appointments
  • Tasks can be shared or completed on alternate weeks, depending on the customer's needs at the time

This role would suit someone who is practical, patient, and respectful, with an understanding of the importance of supporting independence while providing help where required.
