At Independent Health Group (IHG) we pride ourselves on the quality of care we offer our patients. All the work we undertake is for the NHS. We are looking for a Theatre Healthcare Assistant for our Gloucester service, based at Aspen Medical Centre.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will have a background and experience in theatre, outpatients or recovery. As a Theatre Healthcare Assistant (HCA) you will support the patient through their procedure, providing a high standard of individualised patient care as part of the clinical team. The HCA will attend to the peri-operative needs of the patients, under the direct management of a Registered Practitioner.
You will help maintain an environment that is conducive to the delivery of a high standard of individualised, holistic and safe patient care, and to the establishment of good communications between staff, patients and other visitors. We are looking for someone with previous theatre or hospital experience.
Responsibilities
Support patients through their peri-operative pathway as part of the clinical team. Attend to peri-operative needs under the guidance of a Registered Practitioner. Contribute to delivering holistic, patient-centred care and effective communication with patients and staff.
Qualifications and Requirements
Previous theatre or hospital experience is preferred. You must have the right to work in the UK (we are unable to sponsor working visas at this time).
