We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Personal Trainer to join our fitness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and exercise physiology, enabling them to create tailored fitness programmes that meet the diverse needs of our clients. As a Personal Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in educating clients about health, fitness, and proper exercise techniques while providing motivation and support throughout their fitness journey. We run a semi-private and small group training facility where attention to detail and client care underpin everything we do.

About You: We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference in people's lives but also wants to push their career forwards and be part of helping develop something bigger than themselves. Must be qualified to level 3, must be seeking to learn and progress as a coach. Must have at least 1 year experience working as a Personal Trainer. Personality is a must as the banter is strong.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' fitness levels, goals, and any medical considerations.
  • Develop personalised training programmes that incorporate strength training, cardiovascular exercises, and flexibility routines.
  • Educate clients on proper exercise techniques and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust programmes as necessary to ensure continued improvement.
  • Provide encouragement and motivation to help clients achieve their fitness goals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe training environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Stay updated on the latest fitness trends, techniques, and research to provide the best service possible.
  • Foster a positive relationship with clients to encourage retention and referrals.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy and exercise physiology.
  • Previous experience in sports coaching or personal training is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively.
  • A passion for health and fitness with a commitment to helping others achieve their goals.
  • Relevant qualifications in personal training or fitness instruction are required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
