Due to continued growth, we are now looking for an ambitious and driven Personal Trainer/Fitness Coach to join the team in a part time employed coaching position. This will be for 10 hours per week initially with opportunities to grow within the company over time. This role is ideal for someone looking for a fresh challenge away from commercial gym environments, high rent fees and the constant pressure of finding leads and marketing yourself. At Unique U, you’ll focus on what matters most… coaching people and changing lives.

  • Brings positive energy and enthusiasm to sessions
  • Is willing to learn, grow and collaborate as part of a team

  • Is confident coaching individuals and groups
  • Takes pride in delivering a high standard of coaching and client care
  • Wants to progress within an ambitious coaching environment

The Role:

You will be responsible for coaching a mixture of:

  • Small Group Personal Training
  • Large Group Coaching Sessions
  • 1-1 Personal Training

You may also assist in planning and delivering our youth fitness sessions for children aged 11–16 years, helping young people improve confidence, fitness and lifestyle habits through exercise. Sessions run Monday – Saturday across mornings and evenings.

You will also be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver engaging sessions
  • Track client progress
  • Demonstrate correct exercise technique
  • Provide ongoing health & fitness education
  • Help maintain a high energy and welcoming training environment
  • Support community events, challenges and coaching projects

Growth & Development Opportunities:

At Unique U, we believe in building careers —not just filling coaching hours. We are passionate about helping coaches grow both personally and professionally through clear development pathways aligned with both your ambitions and the company vision. Successful candidates will receive ongoing support, mentorship and on-the-job training to help develop their coaching ability, confidence, leadership skills and overall impact within the business.

  • On-the-job coaching mentorship and training provided
  • Internal & external CPD opportunities
  • Coaching freedom and creative expression with the ability to share ideas
  • Be part of an ambitious and supportive coaching team
  • Opportunity for future growth and increased hours within the company

What you must have:

  • Level 3 Personal Training Qualification (or equivalent)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Must have actively coached in a Small Group Personal Training or Large Group Coaching environment within the past 12 months
