Are you a Maintenance Electrician? Have you previously worked in a heavy forge environment? Do you want to work for one of the UK's leading independent aerospace and industrial forgers? Independent Forgings and Alloys (IFA) have an exciting opportunity to join their Maintenance team as a Maintenance Electrician. The role is working Monday to Friday on a rotating 2 shift pattern: Monday to Friday - 6am-1.30pm and 12-7.30pm.
Main duties of the role:
- Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks
- Installation of new plant
- Planning electrical maintenance tasks for completion during the shutdown
- Development and upgrading of existing equipment
- Good knowledge of safety and permit to work systems
- Reactive Maintenance
- PAT testing
- Inspection and testing of electrical equipment
You Should be:
- Apprentice trained maintenance engineer with electrical bias
- Previous experience in a heavy industrial environment
- NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering or equivalent
- 17th Edition wiring regulations
- Have experience in fault finding, wiring and instrumentation work, preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance
- Fault finding on PLC
