Main Duties

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks
  • Installation of new plant
  • Planning electrical maintenance tasks for completion during the shutdown
  • Development and upgrading of existing equipment
  • Good knowledge of safety and permit to work systems
  • Reactive Maintenance
  • PAT testing
  • Inspection and testing of electrical equipment

You Should Be

  • Apprentice trained maintenance engineer with electrical bias
  • Previous experience in heavy industrial environment
  • NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • 17th Edition wiring regulations
  • Have experience in fault finding, wiring and instrumentation work, preventative maintenance (PPM) reactive maintenance
  • Fault finding on PLC
