Join to apply for the Maintenance Electrician role at Independent Forgings and Alloys Ltd. Are you a Maintenance Electrician with experience in heavy forge environments? The role is based in Sheffield, operating a 2-shift pattern Monday to Friday (6:00 am–1:30 pm and 12:00 pm–7:30 pm).
Main Duties
- Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks
- Installation of new plant
- Planning electrical maintenance tasks for completion during the shutdown
- Development and upgrading of existing equipment
- Good knowledge of safety and permit to work systems
- Reactive Maintenance
- PAT testing
- Inspection and testing of electrical equipment
You Should Be
- Apprentice trained maintenance engineer with electrical bias
- Previous experience in heavy industrial environment
- NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering or equivalent
- 17th Edition wiring regulations
- Have experience in fault finding, wiring and instrumentation work, preventative maintenance (PPM) reactive maintenance
- Fault finding on PLC
