We are Independent Forgings and Alloys (IFA) - one of the UK’s leading independent aerospace and industrial forgers. We are now looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join us. As our Maintenance Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for maintaining our PPM system, inputting reactive maintenance and planned maintenance tasks. You’ll produce weekly reports including the KPI report and ensure all maintenance systems are kept up to date. You’ll also organise spares/repairs with the Maintenance team and Engineering Manager and follow up on maintenance tasks as completed by the Maintenance team. This role offers real potential for development and career progression as you may be required to deputise for the Maintenance Manager during busy periods. It is a permanent, full time role working Monday to Thursday, 08:15 – 16:30 and Friday, 08:15 – 16:00. Some flexibility may be required as the Maintenance team work 06:00 – 19:30.
Who are we looking for? We’re looking for someone who holds at least 5 GCSE’s at grade 5 or above (including English and Maths) and who is ideally educated beyond this level with Engineering qualifications. You’ll have hands on Engineering experience, in either mechanical or electrical disciplines and have had some exposure to a PPM system or similar. With excellent verbal and written communication skills and competency in MS Office, you’ll have good planning and organisational skills and be able to keep track of day-to-day activities and project work.
