BFI is seeking a Rights Research & Data Creator to research, assess, verify and document rights and provenance information for selected moving image works, updating the CID with new and enhanced rights records. The role is a fixed-term contract running until 31 March 2029.
Key duties include auditing collections for IP information quality, researching ownership and provenance, identifying rights holders and stakeholders, and enriching CID data per BFI standards. Interviews begin in October 2026.
