We are a small family-run business looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join our growing team in which we currently have 5 qualified technicians and 1 apprentice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics and MOT tests on vehicles. We specialise in the VAG group but are not limited to this brand; we work on all makes. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to use their own initiative.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MOT tests on vehicles in accordance with regulations and guidelines (if MOT tester)
- Identify and report any faults or defects found on servicing/diagnostics/MOTs
- Undertake timely repairs and servicing of customer vehicles
- Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, and repairs are thorough and to highest quality
- Keep work area clean and neat
Requirements:
- VAG Group knowledge (preferable/not essential)
- Full UK Driving License
- MOT Qualified / Minimum of 3 years in the Motor Trade qualified (preferable)
- Enjoy team nights out
