The Role
We are looking for a Trade Counter / Warehouse Operative to join our Swindon branch. This varied role combines customer-facing trade counter responsibilities with warehouse duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, managing stock and being part of a busy team.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving customers and processing orders at the trade counter
- Handling customer enquiries and providing product advice
- Picking, packing, loading and unloading goods
- Maintaining accurate stock levels using warehouse systems
- Assisting with goods in and goods out processes
- Supporting sales growth through excellent customer service
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Product knowledge within electrical wholesale or similar industry preferred
- Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and carrying out manual handling duties
Working Hours
Week 1
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:15pm
Week 2
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 5:15pm
- Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
