We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused Saturday Sales Assistant to support our busy Watchet branch. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team and deliver excellent service to both trade and retail customers.
Key Responsibilities- Serve customers in branch and over the phone
- Provide advice on products, pricing, and stock availability
- Process orders, quotes, returns, and payments (EPOS)
- Keep the trade counter clean and well presented
- Support stock control and shelf replenishment
- Build strong customer relationships and repeat business
- Work closely with yard and warehouse teams to fulfil orders
- Experience in a builders’ merchant, trade counter, or retail role (preferred)
- Knowledge of building materials (desirable)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, proactive, and team-focused
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
