Based from our High Street Godstone branch, you’ll focus on winning new business, developing existing accounts and driving profitable growth for our Tool Hire operation.
Responsibilities
- Identify and convert new Tool Hire business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Develop and deliver a regional sales plan
- Promote products, services, offers and new lines
- Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve agreed margin targets
- Prepare and follow up quotations
- Plan daily calls and manage a structured calling cycle
- Maintain accurate sales records, paperwork, and reports
- Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
- Establish and review the calling cycle to maximize customer contact and develop existing business
- Develop a territory strategy that maintains existing business and identifies new customers
- Selling across our product range and introducing promotions and new lines
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in Tool Hire (builders’ merchant preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills
- Well organised and results focused
- Knowledge of building supplies and Tool Hire services
- Good understanding of industry health & safety standards
