We are looking for a Yard Operative to support the safe and efficient running of our builders’ merchant yard.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Load and unload building materials and timber
  • Pick and prepare customer orders
  • Assist customers collecting goods from the yard
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe yard area
  • Operate forklift trucks (if trained)
  • Follow all health and safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Yard or builders’ merchant experience (desirable)
  • Sales or product knowledge is a bonus

Working Hours

Week 1: Monday – Friday 07:30–17:15, Saturday 08:00–12:00
