Join our team at Grant & Stone Building Supplies, a respected independent builder’s merchant serving the Southeast since 1987. We are part of the Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG), the largest independent merchant group in the South of England.
The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled, reliable HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our team at our Wantage Branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations.
Responsibilities
- To transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of products
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary
Requirements
- HIAB Class 2 licence
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
The Hours
- Week 1: Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 17:00
- Week 2: Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 17:00 & alternate Saturdays, 08:00 to 12:00
