The Role

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Assistant to join our busy timber yard team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll support the production and preparation of timber products, ensuring quality standards and customer requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently (in line with training)
  • Carry out continuous quality checks on materials
  • Ensure sundries are stocked (banding tape, sheeting, labels, etc.)
  • Prepare and present finished timber packs to a high standard
  • Accurately label products with customer and stock details
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Report any health & safety concerns or improvements

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Experience as a saw operator
  • Sideloader (forklift) experience or licence
  • Background in timber, manufacturing, or warehouse work

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 07:00 – 16:30
