Join our team at Parkers Building Supplies, a respected independent builder’s merchant serving the Southeast since 1984. With a commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service, we are part of the Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG), the largest independent merchant group in the South of England.
We are seeking a dedicated Counter Sales Assistant to join our team at our Hastings branch. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for customer service and sales in a trade counter environment.
Requirements:
- Good building product knowledge gained within the building industry or builders’ merchant experience (Preferred).
- Good Customer Service.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with different types of customers.
- Comfortable operating a computer-based sales processing system (full training will be given).
- Good telephone manner.
- Friendly, articulate, customer focused.
- The successful candidate must be proactive in their approach towards sales and a good communicator.
Hours:
Week 1: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 17:00
Week 2: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 17:00
Saturday 08:00 - 12:00
