Chandlers Roofing Supplies has specialised in roofing materials across the Southeast since 2010. With customer service at the heart of our operations, we combine focused roofing expertise with the backing of Independent Builders Merchants Group (IBMG). We’re now looking for a reliable Yard Operative to join our team at our Guildford branch.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Load and unload roofing materials and timber
- Pick and prepare customer orders
- Assist customers collecting goods from the yard
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe yard area
- Operate forklift trucks (if trained)
- Follow all health and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Yard or builders’ merchant experience (desirable)
- Sales or product knowledge is a bonus
Working Hours:
- Monday – Friday 07:00–16:30
- Every other Saturday 07:00-11:00
