With a commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service, we are part of the Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG), the largest independent merchant group in the South of England.
We’re expanding our Sales team at our Aylesbury3c Branch and are looking for a dependable External Sales Assistant to help us continue delivering excellent service to our trade and retail customers.
The Role
We currently have an opportunity for an External Sales Assistant to join our team in Aylesbury 3c.
You will provide customers with advice and guidance on the selection and use of products, maximise sales and margin for the company, manage all customer accounts assigned to you, coordinating a profitable and professional working relationship between company and customer.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular face to face contact. Work with manufacturers to maximise sales, coverage and profit potential.
Qualifications / Specific Experience & Skills Required
- Full driving licence (essential)
- Experience in a similar role
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with different types of customer
- Comfortable operating a computer based sales processing system
- Good telephone manner
- Friendly, articulate, customer focused
- Self motivated & driven
The Hours
Week 1: Monday to Friday 07:30 – 17:15
Week 2: Monday to Friday 07:30 – 17:15 & Saturday 08:00-12:00
