Join our team at Parkers Building Supplies, a respected independent builder’s merchant serving the Southeast since 1984. With a commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service, we are part of the Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG), the largest independent merchant group in the South of England. We’re expanding our team at our Eastbourne Branch and are looking for a dependable HGV Driver to help us continue delivering excellent service to our trade and retail customers.
The Role
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of products
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary
Requirements
- HIAB Class 2 licence (Preferred but not essential as in-house training available)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Excellent driving skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
The Hours
- Week 1: Monday to Friday - 07:30 to 17:00
- Week 2: Monday to Friday - 07:30 to 17:00 & Saturdays 08:00-12:00
