Dulwich Prep & Senior is seeking to appoint a helpful, motivated and team focused individual to join our facilities team. Dulwich Prep & Senior is an exciting place to work. With over 800 pupils, it has been the largest boys’ prep school in the UK and is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of the world’s most cosmopolitan city. We are excited to launch our senior section this September, and boys will now be able to stay with us until GCSE.
We are seeking to appoint a helpful, motivated and team focused individual to assist and support the facilities team with the daily preparation and maintenance of the whole school site, including Early Years, sports pavilions and the swimming pool. Duties include meeting and greeting facility hirers, as well as locking up and securing the school site. Having a flexible approach, willingness to adapt and being able to respond to priorities is essential.
The successful candidate will be able to share knowledge and information with other members of staff to promote good practice and work independently whilst consistently striving to maintain a high standard of work. A full UK driving license and a basic knowledge of and aptitude for handyman tasks is essential. The ability to swim and drive a mini-bus would be helpful.
Working hours will be 10.00am to 7.00pm, Monday to Friday, plus 15 Saturdays (7.00am to 6.00pm) to be worked each year. There is an additional annual allowance of £3,000 in consideration of the unsocial working hours.
