Western Branch Diesel, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for all levels of Diesel Truck Mechanics at our location in Portsmouth, Virginia. This individual can be looking to start their career or have previous experience as a technician. Indel Power Group is a distributor/dealer for major brands such as mtu, Detroit Diesel, Allison Transmission, Cummins, Caterpillar, Volvo Penta, Freightliner, Western Star, Isuzu, Autocar, and Crane Carrier, to name a few. Joining the service team will provide you with a rewarding work environment, excellent pay and benefits, and an opportunity for advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, repairs, preventative maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls.
  • Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs to promptly address and resolve customer vehicle or equipment concerns.
  • Commitment to safety and cleanliness.
  • Maintain open communication with management team regarding job status, updates, and changes.

At least one (1) year of relevant mechanical experience is required.
