Indel Power Group has an opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist at our corporate office located in Portsmouth, Virginia. This individual should be organized with the ability to multi-task and possess good customer and communication skills. Key Responsibilities
- Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal ID numbers, scheduling and preparing checks, resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
- Verify approval on all invoices and check requests
- Update and maintain vendor database
- Audit and process employees’ expense reports
- Process and enter invoices
- Maintain accounts payable files
- Record credit cards and bank fees
- Special projects as assigned
