The Medical Affairs content teams create and review scientific content for a variety of deliverable types such as slide decks, eModules, infographics, videos, medical information responses, and publications. The team leverages clinical and scientific knowledge to address clients’ business problems and reach various target audiences including medical affairs teams, sales reps, physicians, nurses, and patients across different therapy areas.
The role holder in Content Solutions would have the opportunity to learn and partner with healthcare clients on various projects. The job entails the following but is not limited to:
- Subject matter expertise with specific therapeutic areas/disease states to collaborate with Clinical Research Physicians and Scientists in developing medical content aligned with brand strategy and medical communications plan.
- Strong understanding of Medical Affairs tactic types including manuscript slide sets, competitive intelligence slide sets, MSL slide decks, disease state education decks, standard response questionnaires, CFAQ documents, and Educational Materials.
- Local adaptation of global scientific content in local language and according to local regulations and PI.
- Interpret and analyse complex data, research findings, and scientific information to create clear, concise, and accurate tactics for different audiences and channels.
- Attend kick-off calls with preparedness to understand the scope of work and communicate meeting minutes and timelines clearly to Project Owners.
- Provide guidance and set clear expectations for editors, graphic designers, PMC, and MCA team, addressing comments and concerns promptly to ensure smooth project progress.
- Ensure delivery of quality content with appropriate reference citations and style guide alignment.
- Effectively prioritise tasks while managing multiple projects and proactively communicate any changes or expectations to all stakeholders.
- Maintain familiarity with tools, software, and processes utilised throughout the project lifecycle.
- Be open-minded and adaptable to changes in tools, software, and processes, adjusting writing practices in response to new guidelines, research findings, or feedback.
Skillset:
- Minimum 7 to 12 years of medical/scientific writing experience in pharmaceutical companies or medical communications agencies.
- Understanding of any specialty area of medicine (preferred) or an overall understanding of the medical field.
- Strong flair and passion for creating and reviewing medical communications.
- Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills.

Language Proficiency:
- English (Writing and Spoken Proficiency).
